Individual spiritual direction ordinarily involves a confidential meeting–in person, by phone or Skype–about once a month for an hour. The session usually begins in silence as both director and directee collect themselves and become present to the source of life. Then, the person in direction will share whatever is real and important going on in their life. Spiritual directors believe we can find the divine in all of life.
