Spiritual Direction
A spiritual director is one who helps another to recognize and to follow
the inspirations of grace in his life,
in order to arrive at the end to which God is leading.

Spiritual Direction is the ancient art of Christian conversation and listening carried out in the context of a trusting relationship.
A Spiritual Director is a faith companion who listens to your life stories with an ear for discerning the movement of the Holy Spirit in your life.
God is the true guide and director, while the human spiritual director is like a coach or a midwife, assisting you in noticing and responding to the inner voice of God and movement in your life. The director is primarily interested in your experience of God and how you can follow God’s call. The process is a spiritual journey into the truth about God, yourself, your relationships, your work and the world.
Below are are some of the biggest reasons to begin Spiritual Direction:
1. Discerning important decisions and life changes.
2. Receive the encouragement, guidance, and companionship you need.
3. Discover, exploring, and integrate spirituality and practices in your life.
4. Explore and interpret your experiences of God.
5. Navigating a time of dryness or darkness - get spiritually unstuck.
6. Become who you were designed to be - uncovering your true self and purpose.
7. Finding a safe space to be heard and spiritually heal past wounds and hurts.
8. Deepen your relationships with God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and others.
My faith/spiritual background.
I am personally anchored within Christian spirituality. I have an affinity with the mystic expressions of all faith traditions. I honour the holy wherever I find it. I am comfortable working with people of faith and with those who consider themselves spiritual but not religious. I seek to listen for the way the Sacred shows up in your life.
